Anet - can we please make the Halloween event longer this year - like it was back in 2005?

All four quarter festivals should last at least a week:
- Spring: Canthan new year.
- Summer: Dragon Festival.
- Autumn: Halloween.
- Winter: Wintersday.
Idon't mind the rest lasting a weekend or a week. But the stated above should last a whole week.

Too bad I'm a college student that can't skip so many classes that he can play Costume Brawl during the entirety of the event.

But I'd still support this. The decorations and stuff should stay up for a week or two, even if the event itself is only a week or weekend long.

If I did my math correctly, I do believe Halloween is on a Friday this year.

And yes, I agree. Having those go for a week would be a nice thing.

I like the idea of the decorations being up a week instead of only a weekend--it would make the whole major event seem even more special. I like to have the time to check out some of the changes in the decorations, especially the Halloween ones. I catch new subtle details nearly every time I hit Kamadan. It's hard to do that when I'm out farming items for party supplies or when I'm participating n the games.

I'm always up for anything that will extend major party weekends into something a little longer. Just not too long, though, or it'll lose the special feeling.

I wouldn't mind it being a week. Given the choice between getting drunk with the band or coming on to a gaming festival, I think the choice is pretty obvious.

/Signed for two reasons

First
People have other things to do during some holidays what with Family commitments etc so a longer time lets then celebrate for real and play the game.

Second it might remove the pressure people feel to be online all through the festival so lag might be lower.

If they cannot be made longer then I vote for the Winterday one at least to be moved a few days so it doesnt interfere with the actual celebrations.
I know many people find it impossible to take part fully at this time of year.

On haloween I have actual haloween stuff to do in real life, and all the times I can get stuff are usually either really early, or really late, so I miss haloween.

/Signed.

Decorations should go up on Monday the 27th at 12:01am, and go down Sunday the 2nd at 11:59 PM. And the Finale events should be on the Sunday, not Halloween day, since some of us like to do other things on Halloween Night.

"edit"

Oh, yes, and bring back the Pumpkin Crown, if not other hats as well, but that's another topic.

/signed, for all the reasons stated in above posts, real life events, more fun/longer play time, decorations for a change of scene etc.
